Fucking love Bill. Yeah a lot of his shit is Holden Caulfield levels of edge but his cadence and delivery is on point. And at the end of the day I perceived his main message to be that we should treat each other better and not take this life for granted.

Hicks and Carlin are terrible

says a 18 year old who had a "george and bill hicks phase" but now he doesn't really do anything besides tell everyone how shit they are
how about tell us why they're bad? and dont use the word edgy or overrated. I dare you
sublimely unfunny, just like dennis miller. le opinionated outcast smoking on stage man. heh... everyone is a sheep, except me... nothig personnel kid....
0 good jokes. yelling about how everyone is either more evil or more stupid than you is really pathetic and lame. genuinely glad he died. hopefully miller and maher, similarly garbage 'comedy' minds follow suit soon.

I am not that guy but I agree that they are both terrible as comedians. To me most of their stuff (especially Carlin) comes off more as funny slam poetry or something rather than good stand up comedy. Hicks' edginess might have been unique at the time but now most of it just makes me cringe. In some ways he strikes me as a proto-Joe Rogan
>comedians who expect me to take any of their political opinions seriously
It's easy to tear things down and say "look how fucked up this is" to get a laugh.
The same edgelords never have an answer to the problem besides "muh socialism perfect society hippy communist shit that never ever works"
