I would actually be okay with that. Rey and Kylo team up, Kylo is redeemed, Luke is redeemed, Snoke is defeated. Rey vs. Luke and Kylo vs. Snoke finale fight, with Kylo putting himself in harm's way to save Rey, Rey almost gets beaten by Snoke, Luke saves her but gets gravely wounded (maybe mortally so) and is redeemed.
