After watching Drive when picking up the chicks I just give blunt, one word answers and stare at them with a stupid smirk on my face. Hasn't worked so far 2bh
>>69727920
I got post-viewing depression for wasting my time watching this shit. First 5 minutes are good though.
>>69728072
They probably think your a bit slow.
A couple of memorable scenes but otherwise it is pretty average.
>>69728086
>not liking drivekino
Spotted the pleb. jealous you arent autistic like the driver and all the other cool kids on /tv/?
>>69728072
You can only do that if you are good looking like Ryan Gosling, sorry senpai.

I work night shifts as a driver.
Refyn needs to turn Drive into a trilogy The Man With No Name. Just a very very loosely connected series of stories featuring an aimless drifter who works magic with cars
Is the book any good?
>>69728167
Or as handsome and charismatic as a Dracula.
During the first chase scene when the helicopter discovers our silver Impala on the bridge the driver revs up the engine and we get the feeling that he's going really fast. But he's not actually driving faster than any other car on the road.
That scene ruined this film for me.
>>69728395
>Only God Forgives
>Place Beyond the Pines
It already is a trilogy
>>69728356
I tried to apply for a job as a cab driver but nowhere in my city hires people under 25 and I'm only 22
>>69728473
I'm 27, it's the same in England. Look for a better job m8, it isn't a good job or lifestyle to live.

I drive Uber now which I dont if that is in Europe or not. The pay is miserable, you frequently get into competition for fares with other drivers stalking the area and the people you pick up are assholes.
I am just doing it for work experience and money
>>69728696
Same here in London. I work for a company that pays better than Uber but it's still shite. Going to tough it out till xmas and then disappear.
>>69728622
so am i

>>Only God Forgives
This movie was a huge let down and I haven't even seen Place Beyond The Pines. Not sure if I want to.
>>69728801
Do you own your car you use for work? Or do they do a fleet thing?
Worst aspect of uber besides the irregular pay is that my car gets trashed every fucking night no matter what. I even put a trash can in the back and it still gets fucking destroyed
>>69728186
Driver is his last name
>>69728974
A fleet thing. You pay about £200 a week for rent, insurance and car wash. Yeah I would never want to use my own car, we don't get as many drunk hipsters as Uber because we are a little more expensive

Nightcall by Kavinsky. No better song to blast from your car stereo on summer nights while you're driving around.
>>69729525
No in the first book he gives half name to that guy he meets but he cuts him off before Driver gets a chance to say it all.
>>69728186
