>Is this the greatest Kino of our millenium?
seriously, is this a meme or is this the most overrated movie of our millennium?
it's an ok sci-fi for people who likes sci-fi. it's neither an exceptional sci-fi nor an exceptional film. I suppose though that the people who praises this are the same that praises nolan's muh complex intelligent flicks
6/10

this this this
this flick has no emotion or aesthetic
>>69712101
It's just a great science fiction, with hints of hard sci fi (a rare genre for modern films), in classic style with a strong lead performance. It was nice to have a kind, helpful AI, and for the protagonist (sort of) to win at the end. It was a solid film, with few flaws, though admittedly narrow scope due to primarily budgetary reasons. It looks fucking great considering the lunar setting and the budget.

It has a great aesthetic. I agree that Rockwell was somewhat lacking in emotion at the climax, but I don't think that it had no emotion. I felt pretty sad when hecalled his daughter and found out his wife was dead.
I mean I kind of liked the part where they're talking to each other about the model thing but past that the movie is pretty average

>It's just a great science fiction, with hints of hard sci fi
literally the only sci-fi in it is the stupid plot twist, the rest of the film is a thriller
>strong lead performance
eh...
>It was nice to have a kind, helpful AI
done dozens of times since 2001:SO
>It was a solid film, with few flaws, though admittedly narrow scope due to primarily budgetary reasons
