A new film has been greenlit, an adaptation of George Orwell's 1984. Who do you choose to direct, and who do you cast?
Hard mode: It's a great film.

Of you don't choose Alfonso Custom you legally have no idea what you're doing

>1984
So overrated.
I would really like it if someone made a new adaption of Fahrenheit 451, but it would never happen because it hits too close to entertainment media Illuminati.
A Brave New World movie would also be pretty amazing if someone could pull it off.
1984 is so outdated compared to the other two books, the only place I can think applies to the dangerous of 1984 is North Korea or something.

The fact that you don't think 1984 is relevant is proof that the party has won. You love big brother.

Haneke could be interesting
late 90's Daniel Auteuil as Winston ofc
>>69649405
I'd adapt A Brave New World first desu.

As long as it's not a Tim Burton's Johnny Depp, probably end up watching it, rather letting it play in the background while doing other things.
>Terry Gilliam as director
>Martin Freeman as Winston
>Marillon Cotillard as Julia

Paul Thomas Anderson is the obvious choice to me.
