I do math and I took a film studies class last term as an elective because I was interested in seeing what it was like. Essentially everyone in the class was retarded and knew nothing about film. Whenever we watched anything that came out before 1990 everyone would whine and ask if there was a remake. I felt pretty bad for the professor because he seemed to be pretty patrician himself and I had some decent conversations with him about Come and See and Hard to be a God. But overall film studies seems to be a joke
