What 80s or earlier movie do you think could be remade and improved today because of better sfx or actors of whatever?
pic absolutely unrelated they wouldn't be able to do a 10th of the shit they pulled in the original 2bh

Is that Animal House?
It will never be remade because it's basic whiteboy bullshit.
Seriously, that movie sucked ass with John Belushi. How lamentably bad would it be without him?

Prob Ghostbusters.
Just imagine what they could pull off with today's CGI

>Animal House (1978)
Yep pretty much right there. Any remake of a film before 1983 is just Hollywood's laziness to create anything new outside of capeshit.
tl;dr: Current Hollywood is completely devoid of original ideas or effort to prove otherwise.

>tfw mistaking Animal House with 1941
>tfw no the day after remake directed and produced by michael bay

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of The Man With The Golden Gun. The idea of an assassin's mistress who's too scared to leave him using a fake assassination threat to get Bond to kill him is a great idea for a Bond movie, but god damn is it poorly executed.
>romero had an idea for a bigger plot
>tfw there where budget cuts

Any Christopher Lambert, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. There are plenty of capable action actors around these days who can actually act and enunciate proper English. Also most of their movies are really horrible.
