That's the tragedy with Jaime. He was one of the most gifted sword wielders ever, basically on the level of Barry and Dayne, but he was cut down in his prime. We will never know, but if I have to guess, I'd say Jaime really is as good as those two in their prime, so Valyrian steel sword give to Jaime and not one to Barry, or Dayne doesn't have Dawn? I'd give it to Jaime.
