The 3x3 threads are decent. Some entry level people there, but it's fine, at least they're interested in advancing their taste. There is at least one guy who can pretty much recognize every single movie and gives countless recommendations. It's a much nicer setting and actual discussion takes place

Some people go in with the preconceived notion that the use of just stills and no titles means its a contest for obscurity and showing off. This couldn't be further from the truth though, everyone is willing to share the films they've included, many just prefer the aesthetic of the grid without any words. That's whats fun about it; making a grid that not only showcases your favorite films or shows ones you want to give recognition too, but that looks really nice, from each individual still chosen to the way the whole grid fits together.
