i liked what they tried to do with Han. it makes sense that he'd be a person who would peak early and then spend his old age trying to recapture the thrills of his youth. unlike in The Crystal Skull i didn't feel like I was supposed to find it cool that he's still wearing the same old clothes, doing the same old thing. it's also a nice little metaphor for what Star Wars fans want from the series and why maybe they should let it become something different without throwing a fanboyfit (which made the death star stuff all the more disappointing)

I fucking hated the pacing. It was like going to an amusement park, sprinting to every ride, and then leaving before noon. It was exhausting and nothing ever stood out, it never could breath.
