I'm not opposed to them continuing to practice this digitally aging or de-aging thing for flashbacks and other purposes, because they seem close to getting it right, and I much prefer it to casting a younger actor, and they have to telegraph in the scene "Ah yes, you're this person that we see later in 20 years" It was pretty laughable in Harry Potter, and Tron looked less than convincing, but one was the ending note for the entire series, so it was more distracting, and the other was there the whole movie. The way the Marvel movies pepper these in work much, much better.

Tron Legacy may have been made when this technology was still new, but it seems that in the case of Michael Douglas and RDJ who have been in films for several decades, digitally placing their younger faces over their current ones works for at least a minute or so before it creeps everyone out.

On topic: Downey Jr. used to be a handsome lad. I remember one of the stories from the time when he was shooting Natural Born Killers. The movie starred Woodie Harrelson and Juliette Lewis and a good chunk of it played in prison. Those scenes were shot in an actual prison. Even though most of the inmates hadn't seen a woman in years, they discareded Lewis and instead were pretty vocal about wanting to fuck Downey Jr.
