Cheryl might not be the funniest character (she's a selfish mean spirited spoiled bitch) but the show loses a lot when she leaves, she was really good at bringing stories together and being the force of inescapable consequences for Larry.

Blasphemous opinion warning:it's terrible.It's a non-comedian poorly improving his way through some rough scripts (I know it's called retro scripting, but whatever). A majority of the show feels like actors waiting for something funny to happen, and when it finally does, it's not even that funny. This is coming from a huge Seinfeld fan, and this show was a major disappointment. That all being said, most people love it, so give it a shot. I'm not gonna tell someone not to like something just because I don't.

Love it. I actually don't think Seinfeld is as funny, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
My only qualm is that, while most episodes revolve around Larry's lack of tact, some entirely hinge on a character who feels fucking stupid and unrealistic; all of the side characters start saying shit you wouldn't expect them to in order to conform to this new cartoon fucking everything up; and without being able to relate to those situations, they no longer seem as funny. Instead of thinking, "Oh, Larry, you deserve this," you start thinking, "What fucking world did he just get dropped into?"
