Amelie was an ok film, nowhere as good as groundhog day, what makes Amelie bad is that almost every single girl that watches it somehow finds a connection between herself and Amelie. As if they are also special, also "so quirky and funny", though most of the time if a woman likes Amelie she is a vapid whore.
Groundhog day on the other hand is a pure romcomkino.
