I make it a regular occurence (once a month or so) to get super drunk and watch this film. Right about at the supermarket scene I am so emotionally fucked up that I binge on feels greentexts and end up sobbing in the shower.

I liked this movie... i really did. But to be honest i would prefer Quentin Tarantino as the director. Final scene, the whole village gone for hunting and Lucas taking them down one by one with his rifle - a good old bloodbath. What a satisfying end this would be... After all its "the Hunt"... it doesn't have to be Lucas hunted all the time :) But seriously now.... Great movie !

If you are being serious, I think you missed the point of this movie. The powerlessness that he suffered was the point of the movie. He couldn't do anything about it, and a massacre at the end would have ruined that meaning.
