I was dragged today to watch the latest one and fuck me I was on the verge of sleep after 20 minutes. Even the action scenes are boring, it's been done to death 1000 times over.
The only thing that briefly caught my attention was the rack on Elizabeth Olsen but even that was criminally underutilised.

The Mind Gem is on Earth. If Doctor Strange rumors are to be believed, so is the Time Gem. The Tesseract was on Earth but moved to a realm with a strong connection to Earth. Thanos has already done things to fuck with Earth to try to get the Stones. Thanos is going to come into contact with the Avengers whether the GotG have anything to do with it or not, so really, only Drax and maybe Gamora have a connection strong enough to the plot that they HAVE to be there.

Gamora better be there, cause her connection to Thanos is one of the best parts of his character. Excluding her and Nebula (if she survives guardians 2) would be a really dumb mistake. Plus, they said they're willing to pull from anything Thanos, so that pretty much garuntees her appearance.
Also, we're forgetting that they haven't even cast Captain Marvel, and she was rumored to be confirmed by the Russo's personally.
