Problems I had with this movie
1. The woman in the beginning says "I barely let it touch me" which implies that the skin melting happens on touch and isn't airborne. Yet the spaceship still shoots poison gas.
2. The poison gas gets sprayed directly onto her and she takes off her suit literally 3 seconds later.
3. The space doggo just fucking leaves when the spaceship starts chasing her in the truck, even after it blew up.
I don't really care about whether or not it's feasible to blow up a ship with a molotov or mary sue complaints, but goddamn the ending scene really threw out all of the continuity it had going for it

They really just didn't do the ending scene well. Even if you accept them jamming Cloverfield into a unrelated movie, which they maybe could have pulled off, it seems like they rushed it all and it didn't come out good.
