I'll repeat guys, the original Power Rangers designs were pretty unisex, Pink Ranger's skirt notwithstanding. Even if the Yellow Ranger was a guy in the original show, the fact that they genderswapped him to a her with no-one noticing is testament to the fact that the show didn't go out of its way to sexualise the female characters outfits. I think it's a bit weird that twenty years ago, the Power Rangers didn't need boob armour, but now in 2016 apparently they do.
I am aware the MMPR movie had boob armour. That was a production made entirely by an American company, with all new costumes and footage, whereas the original show used Japanese sentai footage for the action scenes. The fact that an American production company feels the need to sexualise the designs is kind of the point.
