When did you REALLY start to notice the increasing "action girl/strong badass female" bullshit in movies?
I remember it really stuck out in one of the pirates of the carribean movies, where blonde chick was a frail demure lady, then they suddenly turned her into a badass that scared all of the boys in one of the sequels

i can watch resident evil movies where you know why she is all powerful, but i cant watch movies where a woman is indestructible with zero muscle mass at 5 feet tall.
