Casino Royale

Brosnan, best mix of nonchalant ladiesman and serious angsty killer. Connery and Craig are too much of one or the other respectively.
Plus Goldeneye was GOAT

It's been a while so remind me: is there anything essential in Casino for QoS to tie up?
I agree on removing Spectre, but QoS is a sticking point for me. I barely remember anything except the theater and final fire.
>>69087301
Not really, they just realize how well comnected and dangerous Spectre is and how they know nothing about it and they get a little closer to it.
Connects Casino to Spectre, skyfall is more of a separate thing.

I can't stand Connery, maybe it's because of the campy tone but Lazenby is GOAT, it's a shame they fucked up the Blofeld storyline (oh, you killed my wife? I'm going to tell jokes and drop you out of an airplane into a factory exhaust pipe)
HOLY FUCK I just learned that Lazenby lied about being an actor to MGM executives, said he did films in Russia and China and places they wouldn't check, he confessed to the director of Majesty and he said "stick to your story, I'll make you the next James Bond"
Lazenby is GOAT

Kill yourself
Brosnan was my favourite Bond years ago because I didn't appreciate older movies as much, I thought they were lame. Except You Only Live Twice, I thought the ninjas, Little Nelly and the hot Japanese women were great.
It took 2 Craig movies until I even decided to see Casino Royale, I thought choosing some blonde guy was retarded. But Craig is my favourite Bond now. It's a shame because he seems to be exhausted and frustrated trying to make the movies great and interesting, you can tell in all his interviews he wants to leave, but cares about the films to want to make more.
So what's his problem? Are people getting bored of Bond or is he working with amateurs?
I hated Casino Royale the first time I saw it. I remember it as 90 minutes of card games and a sex scene and a short car chase. I wasn't impressed. But when I saw Skyfall I got in to Craig's Bond.
>mfw no one likes A View to a Kill
>>69095723
Skyfall is the best film in the Bond canon. Idk if it's the best Bond film, since it goes out of it's way to subvert some shit, and is kind of a movie ABOUT the Bond franchise more than anything else, but goddamn is it a good film on it's own merit. I've watched all of the movies at least twice in my lifetime. I marathoned them all one summer when I was like 12, then did it again in college when I was 20. But I've watched Skyfall well over 6 times. It's so comfy. It was my bedtime movie for a while.

>>69084533
Decent list but I also liked Man with the Golden Gun and Live and Let Die
>>69095862
>i've watched all of the movies at least twice in my lifetime
>i've watched skyfall well over 6 times
I grew up with all the Bond movies and watched every one over 6 times. I literally had to force myself to finish Skyfall it was so bad. I didn't even bother giving Spectre a try.
It's similar to Star Wars, which I also grew up watching. I absolutely loved and cherished it, and then the prequels came along and completely fucked the franchise. I couldn't have cared less about the Disney Star Wars that just came out, because everything was already ruined (I still watched it, then deleted it, and promptly forgot about it the next day).
Hopefully when they get rid of Craig they'll go back to making real James Bond movies again.
It might be because Connery was my first Bond but to me he's the real deal, the best one that really embodies Bond, he carries it well almost like he was made for it. I guess it's partly because he's old enough to be from a time like that - there's no way Craig could pull it off simply because he grew up in a different time and culture. Second best would be Brosnan because he's classy, witty and handsome, pretty much the modern version of Connery's Bond.
>>69084533
Where the fuck is the spy who loved me?
Bob Holness played him on radio first.
>>69084193

>>69100141
I'll admit, the fencing part was a good distraction. I also enjoyed the title/torture sequence. Everything with Halle Berry, Madonna, and the ice palace was pure shit, though. It's by far the worst Brosnan Bond.

But it did sorta entertain me, in a so bad it's good type of way, the other 2 I mentioned were boring.

Successful VIRAL MARKETING campaign for Sony Pictures
> Tactics
1. Get a few anons to post pictures of Sony owned IP with no text and no banter
2. Get a few more anons to post non-nonsensical memes like "Rank these Bond films"
3. Get a few more anons to get pissed at the obvious spam and start flameposting thread
> Priority
1. Above all else, keep Sony IP in the discussion
> Result
1. Sony IP is continually on front page of /tv/ for years
2. As /tv/'s popularity grows on Reddit and elsewhere, more casuals begin to lurk
3. Casuals assume Sony movies are belived by /tv/
4. Sony studio makes solid revenue despite being worst studio in the business
Pretty simple really.
The same tactics have worked for years on >>>/v/ and >>>/g/
