Like any business they gave the people what they wanted. Don't blame MTV for the fact that Americans are retarded.

Real talk

First 2 seasons of Jersey Shore were decent.

It went to shit when they went to Italy or whatever
>>
They started pandering too hard to SJWs.

A lot of guys were watching those too, and once grunge hit and you had shows like liquid television and beavis and butthead I'd say it was majority guys watching

Actually yeah, you're right - not sure why I remembered them differently.

>>69070186
Those sorts of bands were all people listened to in my redneck high school, apart from people who watched Headbanger's Ball.

Anyway, I assume the real reason for things going wrong was that it was more cost effective for them to produce shit shows than to pay royalties for videos.

Millennials are ~20ish to ~35ish according to most. Unless you're over 35 or under 20 you're a millennial

who is this semoness
>>
>>69070461
The youngest Millennials, right now, are 17 or so.
>>
It stopped being Music Television and started being just Television.
>>
>>69070461
That does mean that MTV went wrong right around when the early millennials would have started watching. Think it's a bit of a stretch to blame them but whatever.

Aliya-Jasmine formerly from MTV Canada.

Now she has a "travel blog" (http://www.aliyajasmine.com/exclusive-resorts-cayman-islands/) and hosts other shows.

If they get off their asses and adapt more Historical events like Vikings it can be redeemed.

>The British Crusade against Slavery
>Reconstruction
>The Barbary Wars
>The Communist Revolution of Russia
>Fall of Rhodesia
>King Ghezo of Dahomey
>Vlad The Impaler
>The fall of Detroit
>The Oregon Trail
>Rise of the Nazis
>The fall of Rome
>The post-muhammad Jihad in the Middle East
>The Khan Conquests
>The Armenian Genocides
>The fall of the Soviet Union
>The Egyptian Dynasties
>The Hawaiian Crown
>The Spanish Conquest of the Aztecs
>The Chinese Dynasties and the Mongols
>The Japanese feuds
>The Clan Wars of Scotland

They can basically keep multiple shows going and cover all of human history.

Live launch concerts.

X artist/band is releasing new album today, let's air his/her release party to help them drum up sales.

You never run out of concerts to air since new albums come out every week.
