Why does HBO done down and simplify so many of the book's designs? First Daario, then Ramsay, now Euron. Have you noticed that in the last couple seasons basically EVERY major male character has short hair? And not just short hair, stylish modern day 2016 short hair. The show made Euron just another boring looking generic calvin klein model with no distinguishing features whatsoever.

Definitely, but Theon thinks a lot about Jon and vice versa. They both have similar issues with the need and longing for belonging somewhere. Both were outsiders to the Stark family, Theon was a bit more accepted by Catelyn, but both were still the unwanted ones. They both were connected by Robb and liked and hated each other. It is a real complex relationship in many ways. They are also extremely well developed(psychologically) characters by GRRM and it would feel like a waste to not have a few scenes with them together, sometimes told by Jon's pov, sometimes in Theon's.

I just hope that Theon gets a major role in closeing Ramsay's arc. Theon has said that he does not want to be forgiven for what he's done. Ramsey is esentially everything Theon had thought he wanted to be, and it's when he became Ramsay's victim and Ramsey destroyed everything he was that Theon started to deal with some hard truths about himself. I'm really hoping Theon becomes something more than just that guy the other characters pity at this point. 'What is dead can never die'. Theon can finally live up to that moto if he overcomes what Ramsey did to him. God, what a great story ark. If not in the show, I sure hope it comes full circle in the next book, should it ever see print.

Theon tried to convince himself that he wants to be this raider who rapes and pillages and takes people as thralls and salt wives. In the books you see him idealizing all the cruelty of the Ironborn, only to find himself increasingly horrified as he actually starts acting on that shit. He goes into denial, trying to justify everything he brought upon Winterfell until Ramsay tortures him. Eventually once everything he was is taken from him, he's left only with grief and guilt and disgust.

Hell, maybe he'll use himself as Ramsay bait since Ramsay is obsessed with Reek. Though how Theon will do anything about mr. plot armor when he can't even use a bow anymore and was never good at other forms of combat, I do not know.
I just hope they do something that will bring his arc full circle, because I really love the narrative of this man without a home, who tried to be someone he's not, finally finding himself after the shit he went through. Theon is arguably the only guy on the show who got better over time rather than worse. But I expect D&D to ruin it because they don't seem to understand any of the characters and don't have GRRM babysitting them anymore.
