Is he the best rapped-turned-actor there is?

Many would say Cube but he has no range at all
>>
>>69045256

What about mos def? I think he's been acting as long as he's been rapping professionally.

or will smith.
>>
>>69045256

I would say Tyrese and him yeah, maybe Ice Cube has best translation between jobs.

Ice T has longest career outside of it probably though and has been on a network show the longest.
>>
He was raped to become an actor?
Did he auditioned for the role of batman or something?
>>
My vote is for Common.
He was good in Wanted and John Wick.

Common has no range and zero charisma.

Mos Def is the best. He can do drama, action, and quirky comedy.

>>69047711

Pretty sure they asked him to be in Wanted too since the comic character is modeled after him.

I think in all the cases he dropped out because they didn't want to film in Detroit where he lived.

Mos Def is number 1, and Andre 3 stacks is 2. The rest are debatable, but all under those two.

It was hard to reduce it to only 10 per decade.

There are many very talented artists that never were commericially very active or relevant and vice versa, 50 cent was very talented in terms of marketability but lacked that certain rap skill edge compared with others so I tried to keep it balanced.
>>
>>69047903

Riff Raff is the truth

>50 cent was very talented in terms of marketability but lacked that certain rap skill edge compared with others so I tried to keep it balanced.
He kinda bought back the whole singing the raps in the hooks though, set up the resurgence in rap around till the middle of the 00's...or dare i say the last decade.

Plus the whole g unit the game beef was fucking hilarious. 300 bars and running was pretty good for a diss track.
>>
why do you guys like Chance so much?
he's literally a meme rapper with a gimmick
>>
>>69051459
like I said, it was hard not to include him. 2000s was kinda shitty with that whole indie/major dichotomy. nowadays its much more fluent and you see mixtape-rappers like Kevin Gates selling 300k out of the blue, which is a cool thing.
