I mean, there's a fight scene with Batman that serves no purpose, you could get rid of it and the story would remain the same.
Yet Batman steals the kriptonite off screen.

In the end, it feels like it's not only because of the writing and the plot in general, but because the editing is fucking atrocious.

The problem is that those are main plot points, and there's issues in every single one of them.
The entire script is a fucking mess because this is what Snyder does.
It's as if he films scenes to make trailers, and then he tries to put them together to make a movie out of them.
Both MoS and BvS feel like 2 hour long trailers, and not in the ''Iron Man 2 feels like an Avengers trailer'' kind of thing.
