Is this the greatest superhero film ever made?
No, it's Captain America: Civil War
>>69016997
Yes.
>>69017016
That's capeshit for capeplebs
>>69016997
No. This is
>>69016997
LEL he couldn't swim
>>69017559
How can someone miss core theme of the film this much
>>69016997
Underrated by normies desu.
I don't remember Bruce Willis in Darkman
Yeah probably. M Night's finest hour.
>>69017623
I just found it a stupid idea but the scene from the movie pulled it off well
>>69017559
His body & bone mass was too dense, pleb. Hence one of the reasons he was unbreakable.
>>69016997
>sequel never
>>69017800
but a person could stand up straight in that pool he almost drowned in
>>69017802
>tfw he wrote a sequel but JUSTed his career away and nobody wants to give him any money now except for low budget pimps like blumhouse
>>69017857
>but a person could stand up straight in that pool he almost drowned in
>>69017800
>His body & bone mass was too dense
that's why he sank like a rock on that puddle.
>>69017431
Sandler's best work of all time!
The rage... It worked for this one.
Also, Emily.
>>69017802
Good. This doesn't need a sequel.
>>69016997
the only capekino movie in existence.
>>69016997
yes
goat soundtrack too, and goat ending, but because of "le twist" but because of the kids.
>>69018156
*not
That scene where his son points a gun at him is intense as fuck.
I think it's more like a thriller drama with magical realism. It's superhero-themed obviously but it's so subdued that it's a long shot to call it a superhero film.
So was he really a superhero? Or just a normal guy who got extremely lucky?

True Capekino
The only thing that bothers me is the text following the ending. Really wish there was a version without it.
>>69018272
it's what the dark knight wishes it could be
>>69018303
The text following the ending? Refresh my memory, it's been a while.
>>69018296
Train station scene suggests the former, though I think it's left ambiguous for a reason.
>>69018418
>The text following the ending?
The text explaining what happened to the characters after the movie.
It is used the most on movies based on true events, like Zodiac.
But this is fiction and it seems out of place.
>>69018470
I literally have no memory of this whatsoever.
>>69018599
It's a really insignificant part of the movie, so it probably doesnt matter.watch it again, nigger ;)
>>69016997
yes, it has been the best one so far. funny how it didn't really find an audience back then.
>>69017882
nah, the movie sort of bombed and he was quoted as saying he never took a sequel seriously because he "didn't feel the love" from audiences. no doubt he wrote an outline for a sequel but never a full script, afaik. i think it's a good time for one. Bruce Willis is in the dregs and so is he so why not pitch a budget-conscious sequel? might do them both a world of good.
>>69018785
A few years ago I wouldn't have wanted a sequel but The Visit showed that Shyamalan might have finally gotten his shit together.
>>69016997
Incredibles
Superman 1978
Batman Returns
Maybe Iron Man. It's not even a great film but if you watch that you don't need to watch any other marvel capeshit
>Spider-Man 2
It's a great flick but has no artistry
>>69017777
waste of quads
>>69019200
I've been wondering for years whether I should get around to watching Scanners. Is it all it's made out to be?
>>69018920
dude is like a modern Cimino to a degree. totally fucked his shit up with bad decision after bad decision. i've yet to see The Visit, though. maybe soon.
>>69019338
It's ok. Lead actor has the most wooden performance I've ever seen, can't tell if it's on purpose or not
>>69017666
Objectively most correct answer itt.
>>69017857
It had a pool cover on it. A lot of people drown that way.
>>69019338
>Is it all it's made out to be?
A solid early cronenberg movie with one of the most iconic scenes in cinematic history? Its pretty good.
>>69019200
Where is the kino?
