I'm remember being incredibly enthused over it when it released because I played a ton of vidya and thought the prospect of virtual reality was cool as shit (I was like 15).
Left the theater incredibly disappointed, found it to be cheesy even then. Plus I thought the kid who controlled the game was the most insufferable person
