Taking a photo of someone going about their day is a little intrusive. If they ask you to stop and you don't, that makes you a fucking creepy wanker. People are obsessed with taking pics of other who have this non-existent value (fame) to boost their own perceived value. Selfies with celebrities is purely an egotistical act.
However, Schumer wanted to play the entertainment game. If you need to thrust yourself deeper into the pits of fame, attention and money, you have to deal with the consequences. You only become rich in these areas if other people like what you do, so without these weirdos that want a selfie with her, Schumer would be nowhere.
