parents buy kids thousand dollar iphones these days
toys are for grownups
do kids even play with toys anymore? my nephew is forced to play outside with nerf guns and basketballs so he doesn't play minecraft and star wars games on his tablet all day.
>>68968223
There were toys made for R movies for decades in the late 70's throughout the 80's and beyond.
>>68968223
They know their audience are stunted adults with too much money.
>>68968310
>iPhones costing thousands of dollars
They don't cost that much grandpa
>Batman (1989)
>PG-13
>McDonald's makes Happy Meal toys
>parents complain about toys for a PG-13 film
>the toys stop
Wouldn't happen today. They probably have Deadpool sex toys free with every gluten-free Happy Meal.
>>68968474
I had this when I was little.
>>68968223
That's not a toy, that's a figure. And no, the distinction is not semantic. Toys are something to be played with and are designed for that. Figures are designed only to be displayed. They aren't designed or priced for playing.

>>68968623
Meme.
Manchild may have meant something in the past, but no longer.
It's meant to be for manchildren.
>>68968747
Why is collecting figures for "manchildren"?
>>68968541
>living in zimbabwe.

I wonder if she has the Suzuki emblem on her butt. But really they should have made her in her biker suit anyhow.
>>68969055
Yeah when I saw the anime I wished that she'd used that oufit instead.
>>68968795
Because they do it. Any other brain-busters?
>>68969191
"Manchildren" also drink water, wear t-shirts and ride bicycles.
>>68968541
A lot of people buy their pretty new phones through their phone service providers so they literally don't have to pay these prices. Only a retard would you fucking retard
>>68968506
>>68969313
These are way more violent and disturbing than Deadpool. Deadpool is more like a buddy cop movie than a superhero one.

They're collectibles for display, like you can collection stamps, rocks or plastic models.
>>68969765
That 18-inch Alien one actually looks pretty good. A shame it's going for $180+ on eBay.
>>68968223
>kids toys
Children don't get toys like that. Those are made for and bought by manchildren.
Even so, Robocop had a toy line for kids and even a cartoon show for kids.
>>68970153
How are they for "manchildren"?
>>68969313
This. I remember there being a TON of Robocop merchandise back in the 90s at places like Toys 'R Us or Walmart, and I had several of the action figures. I remember there was one where you could open up the back of his head and remove the brain case.
Robocop was hot shit back in the day, although I saw it at home when my dad rented it from Blockbuster. While I would never take a kid to Deadpool, I can see why there are action figures for it.
>>68968405
Does no one remember the action figures for Predator, Glen Gary Glen Ross, or even Alien?
I dressed her this afternoon. What do you think? Pretty neat huh?
>>68968223
>kid toys
>more expensive than a kid
>>68968289
Thanks for the giggle
>>68970366
I remember Alien especially had a shit ton of action figures back in the day and a load of commercials. A lot of the kids at my school had them.
I remember Predator as well, but it wasn't as big as the Alien merchandise.
>>68970378
Is the face custom painted? Because she looks nicer than mine
>>68968223
what even made that movie "r-rated"? i think it was like 16 here. actually what even is r rated
>>68970569
American ratings are retarded
>gory violence and torture is ok
>bad words or a nipple is adult content
>>68970617
>a nipple is adult content
That's bullshit, all the superhero films have shirtless guys.
>>68970494
I the company that made the head is "Three Q". I don't know how they paint them tbqh.
>>68970617
hmh okay. so there were maybe like two pair of breasts and some bad language and it's adults only. Nice.
>>68970675
>if i pretend to not understand the implication of it being a female nipple i win xd
off yourself for the good of humanity
>>68970799
What's the difference? Plenty of European films show female nipples and they're PG.
How would you even live your life like this? People go to beaches topless, even if children are around. Women breastfeed their babies. It's not sexual.
>>68970890
Do you realize that I'm the guy who first said their rating system was retarded?
I'm European myself
>>68971145
Glad we agree then.
What about American films that show nipples in a completely non-sexual context? Say you have a drama film with no/little adult content, then one character goes for a breast exam.
Does that bump the film up to an R rating? Is it considered more sexual than hunky guys walking around shirtless just for fanservice?
