I've just watched Spectre because I completely missed it in cinemas. Great little nods to the formative first movies of the franchise, with thehidden villain base in a scenic craterand thereinforced henchmanand so on; nicely captured the slightly visionary atmosphere of the originals while retaining reference to current issues which is something I've missed in the realistic grit of the past few films. It's just a shame to seeBlofeld being reintroduced after 45 yearsjust tobe captured within a single string of events, I hope he manages toescape for appearance in a future title. Only bitter bytaste:deflating the excitement during the final chase with that lucky fucking shot at the helicopter, could they really not think of something more cinematic?
