Shorter distance the signals need to travel from brain to wherever. The bigger you are, the greater the distance. I dunno if this truly affects Ant-Man though. He's faster while small but then people can talk to him like normal. Maybe his helmet can raise the speed of an audio received but that would sync him to real time.
