When Bernthal was announced I didn't see how he would work, build-wise. He was far and away the second best thing about DDS2, right behind Fisk being better in 4 scenes than he was in all of season 1.
They did right by Punisher, IMO. This could be awesome, as long as they go full TV-MA, not just throwing the occasional "shit" and mild bloody violence like DD and JJ.

Almost every time I've seen Spider-Man and Kingpin fighting, it's been brief scuffles where the Kingping gets a drop on him, and Spidey is all "geez, I'd be pretty fucked if I was a normal guy".
I recall them actually fighting in two occassions, one where Spidey had a broken arm prior the fight and Fisk won. The other, it was a fair fight and Spidey was in "i've had enough of this shit" mode, and Peter completely obliterated Fisk, pretty much made him his bitch.
