I haven't listened to the new iteration, but the mid 90s-2000s up to when Adam left was such an amazing show.
FYI they're doing the Adam & Drew Show 5 times a week.
Its the same as Loveline but Adam talks 50 mins of the hour show.

They've been doing 1 hour adam and dr. drew podcasts for a while now, but it's only been once a week, it's a nice supplement to adam's pod, but this will be great when it's more frequent. I wonder if it will be 1 or 2 hours.

I'm pretty sure Loveline is the only reason I survived high school. I was an idiot and doing all kinds of drugs and stupid shit, and I didn't want to hear anything about the consequences from my family or teachers, or anyone with authority over me.
But hearing it from Adam and Drew somehow resonated with me. I mean, I'm still a complete waste of fucking oxygen like the rest of us here, but at least I'm not a self-destructive waste of oxygen anymore.
I didn't listen to the show since Adam left in 2005, but I can't help but feel like kids are going to be missing out on something valuable by not having this on the airwaves. Podcasts are great, but they're not something you can just easily stumble upon while searching through radio stations at 12 am while high out of your mind and thinking about killing yourself.

Weird that, i also havent been listening since about 09, but this thread's news gave me the last 45 minutes live, and it feels good. like being there for the closing of a long running tradition, at least in my life.
in college i had a nervous breakdown and was all by myself for the first time and loveline At least gave me some kind of stabilizing factor concerning my depression and getting treatment (called in a few times, talked to kevin smith about depression and wrath of khan).
