Most women age like shit. There are a few exceptions, and black women don't tend to age badly but that's just because they start out looking like garbage so there isn't much of a contrast.
It's the tradeoff of being a woman really, you burn bright and fast. Have the world handed to you in your youth and become useless as you age.
Network television is a safe harbor for women in their 30-40s. Just book a job as a comedian's wife in a family sitcom or as a detective/lawyer and you're all set. It has been that way for decades.
