What does /tv/ think of Horace and Pete?

Hamfisted dreck
I liked it a lot. The story was a bit of a slow burn but it was really interesting to find out more details about the Horace & Pete lineage every episode until we get the final reveal in the finale. This scene was probably the most heart-wrenching thing i've seen on tv for a while

However, i didn't like the political and comedic rants by the bar characters. They felt forced and kinda ruined the vibe of the show. Definitely could have been subtler.

We've had enough faux philosophic comedians to last a lifetime

This. Louie seriously needs to stop meddling into politics in his works. Otherwise it was great.
>middle ground fallacy the show
Complete garbage and I like his stuff usually.

What is the plot of this show? What is it even about?

Dysfunctional family owns a bar. It's a tragedy.

There's an episode about liberals and conservatives that exemplified this.

okay, maybe 'plot' isn't the best word to use. Story is more suitable.
And to answer your questions it's basically this >>68859511 and there are all sorts of hints to how terrible the family really is from the start of the show, but it's masked by all the quirkiness of the characters. Then over the course of show you begin to realize how terrible and irredeemable that entire family is and the finale completes the picture for you. The ending really hits hard and leaves you not knowing what to think.

Bye, cuck! You won't be let back in. Enjoy doing the Saskatoon comedy clubs.
The scene with Pete and old Pete was brilliant.

The middle ground is not a constant. It's shifted throughout history. What was centrist 10 years ago isn't what was considered moderate 30 years ago. You can't base your ideology off of something that constantly changes. It's the easiest way to tell if someone knows fuck all about politics.
