This kind of thing is exactly what's wrong with these movies.
Winter Soldier was good because it was filled with great choreography and practical effects. This whole thing is not exciting or entertaining at all because it's so fake. I get the idea, "whoa cool Spiderman took down Ant Man" but the whole thing is so obviously fake.
This is why no matter how much shitposting there is about it, I will appreciate TFA. Real sets, real locations, the majority of effects are practical in basis, with some digital enhancement added, it all feels like a real and exciting adventure. Even in the dogfight sequences, allowing us to see the practically done cockpit camera keeps it based in reality and makes it seem more real. When it's something like this, all you can think is, "Fake".
CGI is an amazing invention, the reason it's hated is because of things like this and Transformers where it's 100% CGI. They just filmed a blank portion of an airport, then added all of this later.
