Gus and Walt fucking loved each other cuz they were both intelligent and methodical guys. Jesse was only cut in because Walt didn't want Hank to get in trouble for beating Jesse up or have Jesse potentially rat him out. Once Jesse got in he started stealing from the lab, selling to recovering addicts by infiltrating his own addicts anonymous thing, and starting shit with those drug dealers.
It still makes me mad thinking about how easy it was for Gus and Mike to turn Jesse against Walt in season 4 when Walt literally gave everything up to stick up for Jesse after all the betrayal and stupidity.
Then in the end it was Jesse who ratted Walt out, and Jesse who survived. I'm a Waltfag by the way.
