Deadpool hung dong, and there was full frontal nudity and blood with gratuitous f-bombs. Any one of those things is a guaranteed R.

I think it'll usher in a new wave of superhero movies, like how Spider-Man 1 represented an age of campiness, The Dark Knight an age of down-to-Earth grimdarkness, and then The Avengers an age of capeshit schlock.

Deadpool will be the start of post-capeshit hyper self-aware films that are one step away from the brink of new sincerity. I think Suicide Squad will continue that trend.

I chuckled like one time and it was absolutley not worth sittig through this boring slog. The story was a piece of shit, there was no tension whatsoever because lel main character can't die. I thought the movie as a whole was pretty funny, I like the referential humour though I realize will be dated extremely quickly in style and content, especially if they overdo it.

There were a few jokes I thought were too, like, cheap or something, when the type of humour overstayed its welcome through the pacing of the story. But most of the time it was on point.

Objectively it's a good movie, /tv/ non-normies love to hate it while they breath tobacco from their golden snuff boxes.

I felt the same way.

And I like Deadpool. The humor was just not good for the most part because I didn't feel a real, comedic talent behind them. And I love well done "randumb humor" stuff like Naked Gun and expected this to be same tier with all the praise it got.

Instead I only got chuckles here and there and a side character (Colossus) that was more interesting than Deadpool.

Less so in modern art then ever, it use to be at least something done in indie production like space balls and some of the games in the 90's even.

now even indie games don't even have that level of perspective. It's something I miss. It's literally the best part of Deadpool that was done since the inception of the movie. The first t'test' scene they did for deadpool gave a hello tot he producer to get the movie financed.

I didn't find it particularly funny, but I enjoyed it. Maybe the part where he's getting pegged.

You're so off beat and against the norm, anon. What a badass.
You are suspended, in my heart.

lol you say that like david cross is going to carry the movie. what has he ever made better? i love the guy but his acting career exists so he can make enough money to not have to act and it shows.

Can't say I did laugh at it. Like, real laughs.

Still enjoy it good.

> McAvoy or Stewart
> Ryan Reynold jokes and self references
> Don't make the suit green or CGI
> Most of the silly fart level jokes

The only thing i did not entirely like is that he was a mad since the begining instead of going mad because of the experiments but all the rest was pretty good.

loved the fact that they actually made him and Colosus look like in the comics instead of giving them random powers and appearances.

To know that the sequel is going to have the same team working on it makes me confident they won't screw Cable either.

I do wonder how they where able to use Xmen and call them Xmen instead of some silly shit like miracles...

I laughed at some parts, but the movie could've been a little more subtle.

I know its Deadpool, but they were handing some of those lines on a silver platter; its obvious they had to clue in the retards who are slow/under the age of 18.

If they were a little bit more clever, then I'd rate it higher.

For me, I'd rate is a solid 7/10. Amusing, funny, but sometimes tiring and in hindsight, not much accomplished (well, duh, origin story).
