You just cross your eyes until the image appears. Some images have two dots at the bottom as a guide. When the two dots converge to make three you look at the main image.

i find it helps if you focus behind the image up close, then pull back your face from the pic and you start to see a little bit of a 3D thing, then you can just focus on that.
