What do you think about The Invisible Man?
It was pretty good but it had its goofy moments and somequipsi think.
The masses wanted a mystic universe worse off that what they were. Timed perfectly with great literature being expounded upon on the screen.

This. It was even the first cross-over universe.

None of them are shit. All of them have some semblance of entertainment value.
Black Lagoon is mesmerizing in 3D. Don't mean to sound like a shill but I have the 3D Blu-Ray and it's outstanding. Granted, the only 3D theater experiences I've had are Avatar, Resident Evil 4, Final Destination 5, Amazing Spider-Man, Star Wars 7 and Paranormal Activity 6, but Black Lagoon in 3D is the only 3D experience I've had to wow me. When shit was coming out at the camera it genuinely felt like it was.

Yeah it was unexpectedly comedic, not super funny though. I cannot stand that mandatory shrill screaming woman character that appears in every other movie from the 30s-60s. If not that one its the loud and stupid man, or the loud and pompous man. I guess overacting stereotypes were funny back then

Even outside of 3D the underwater scenes look great
Julie Adams is a top-tier qt too
The CGI back then was phenom.
