raising hope is all around under-rated. cloris leachman steals all her scenes. dillahunt is great. martha plimpton is pretty good. shannon woodward can't really act but she is good looking. the first season the stories sort of sucked but the rest of it was pretty much just greg garcia going totally meta about tv itself.

I personally liked the fact that they finally created a relationship where almost nothing goes wrong, and if it does it gets solved right away. Trying out a realistic relationship or a breakup every other episode would have ruined it. It was a warm-hearted show done well.
