if i came to /tv/ wanting to discuss deadpool i could find a thread or start my own and generate some good discussion.
if however i posted a thread about wolfpack, it would be totally ignored and archived very quickly.
obviously there will still be certain movies / documentary's etc that won't be as popular on a board like film, but i feel that fragmenting the user-base (however small a portion of posters that may be) will result in less bitching on /tv/ and a place for people to post about their "kino" unironically on /film/
