I really enjoyed this show. It's kinda weak for Le Carre, but still very good.
My main issue is that Hiddleston starts out really strong as a character and then devolves into a serious of reaction shots the further he infiltrates. He never really seems like the kinda of guy that Laurie would actually be intrigued by and essentially 70% of his dialogue becomes him chuckling at something being said and then saying nothing.
It's kinda weird. Still a good show. I really prefer this kind of cinematic espionage compared to James Bond blowing up cities.
The cast is delightful - especially Tom Hollander - and Debicki is absolutely gorgeous.
She's such a qt, too bad she shaves everything but her arms.
