Maybe this? When I saw it for the first time the other day I kept thinking about how there's no way I could ever watch this with my friend's mom or sister. Would women want to see a movie that's mostly about two guys shooting the shit talking about what it means to be a god or create an amazing machine with a few scenes with naked women thrown in?

disagree.. I think that was true for a few decades after it came out but we are in the decade of every action movie star being jacked. Being every other film is a cape shit movie.
every one is expect to work out now... oh not to Arnold's level but when the film came out the idea of going to a gym for hours was strange. It's just not that way anymore.
I think the only films that women can't really understand or appreciate are war movies. Being women by their very nature are petty and back stabbing creatures. Always looking for the next better thing to swing over and latch on to for some reason.
The idea that a random group of near strangers could share a soldier's bond to a level of being willing to die for each other is just totally lost on a women.
