Actually. It has. It's happened before. Throughout history there have been several well documented cases of "doppelgängers". Where people have seen themselves, or seen people when seeing them was impossible.
The most famous is a man seeing himself walk down a path in a park towards him and then him being that person several years later. With other people seeing them as well.
