I was thinking about a screenplay for this today.
Follows four story-lines: (starting at the beginning of 15/16 season)
Vardy, starting from when he used to earn 30 pounds a week in footballing wages and worked at a factory the rest of the time, following each gargantuan leap in his footballing career. (shown in flashbacks during the 15/16 season)
Mahrez and his similar fairytale story. (also in flashbacks)
Ranieri and his ridicule and maybe some stuff with his wife, family helping out of a rut (also in flashbacks)
And then some random Leicester lifelong who decides to randomly put 100 on Leicester to win the leauge at the start of the season out of pure devotion to the club. (his scenes would largely consist of his trips to the pub, watching the game with his bros, maybe throw in a sob story for why he needs the money).

Will it cover the doping? There is noway a team goes from relegation candidates to EPL winners without some assistance.
The problem with making a film about a story like Leicester's now is that sports coverage is already so good. Every match this season has been filmed in HD from a dozen different angles. The players have been interviewed, the stories have been told. Someone will end up making a phenomenal documentary about the team, their backstories and this season, and a film will just feel pointless. It'd be like making a dramatisation of Senna when the documentary was perfect.
