As to throwing out spurious lawsuits and tearing down crosses, I must again point out that this is not a belief, or something exclusive to Atheists in the slightest. Christians have lobbied against allowing other religious groups right to erect religious monuments and in the case of those federal employees refusing to marry people, refusing to follow the law due to ideology. In principle I disagree with all attempts to infringe on other people's religious rights, from whatever faith, but in order for all faiths to be free to practice their worship the state or federal government can't espouse one over all the rest, nor show preferential treatment to one over all of the others. Freedom of religion must necessarily also be freedom from religion.

I think I have trouble seperating politics from the person.
