After fucking Foggy and Karen's whiny bitch bullshit she was such a refreshing character and made Daredevil be a bit like the cool hero he's supposed to be.
Matt being a badass with her is so much better than him constantly apologizing to his two gay coworkers.

She ruined the action scenes. With two good guys fighting the scenes all became these incredibly wide tableaus which were just exhausting and ugly. And, her introduction marks the beginning of every character's motivation falling apart or turning on a dime.

She's a crazy arrogant bitch who fucks up Matt's life. By the end of the season we know there's a very good reason she acts the way she does, but first impressions are hard to shake.
Also Foggy and Karen working on Frank's trial (and everything else involving Frank, for that matter) is way more engaging than Elektra and Matt dicking around with a bunch of ninjas.
Foggy is kinda whiny, but he has a right to be because it was Matt's idea to defend Frank, and then Matt basically fucks off and does whatever he wants and leaves his friends hanging.

i dug her character more than the Punisher. i thought the Punisher was kinda lame, honestly. nothing much to his character. Bernthal did his best with weak material, though. Elektra, on the other hand, was a bit all over the place but she was such a breath of fresh air after those first few torrid episodes.
i don't get why people constantly complain about the ninjas and shit. it's a comic book series, after all. silly shit is to be expected.

Alright, it might not be a very good reason, but it is a reason.

Seeing more of the Hand's motivations and methods would have been better, because as it is they are kinda saturday-morning-cartoon villain tier in a show that is otherwise pretty serious. However, it IS a TV show, they can't spoil everything right away. They're going to bring all this Hand stuff back eventually, so some things need to stay mysterious.
I like the character but I hate the actress.

God I hope not. I was willing to accept ninjas in season 1 because I figured that Nobu fought like that as a sort of honor ritual. I thought they were "modern ninjas" like corporate hitmen or whatever with an agenda.

The actress and the character of Elektra were fine. It's the story arc that was pretty lame. Unfortunately she doesn't want an Elektra solo. I hope she comes back and they give be a more interesting plot to work with.
