The only thing that made Jurrasic World a decent watch is that they knew they were making a terrible movie, and poked fun at it.
Star Wars 7 was a well-executed mediocre movie. It gingerly ripping off A New Hope doesn't really make it a reboot, even a soft one.
Also A New Hope is from the 70s and Jurassic Park from the 90s.
