Japanese Michael Bay-tier but still enjoyable enough. The bug designs are fun and seeing more Starship Troopers action with a real budget is nice after so many years. And trying to continue the characterization movie Rico, Carm and Doogie was an admirable endeavor. I don't even mind how they did it. I'd watch another if it ever got made.
