You seem to forget the superior transfers extras, and essays that come with their releases. They're nearly always superior to barebones, studio releases. If you're going to collect movies, why wouldn't you spend a little more for a nicer edition? Otherwise just torrent or stream the movie. Plus, if you watch for sales, you can get most for $20.
