Just saw this yesterday.
Probably the most realistic depiction of late teens/early 20s men speaking and treating each other like shit in the most fraternal and endearing way possible.Extremely comfy film by the way. HYPER COMFY-TIER in fact, and the love interest was a qt. Highly recommended if you want to nostalgia as well as watch with a big smile on your face for the entire runtime.

The actors are all early to late 20s.
The point remains that the demographic they were representing spoke very similarly to how they should speak in that age bracket and time period, which is the point in the thread since 90% of what they said was bantz.
It was an extremely well written film.

Billy Ray: So, I heard you turned 80 today.
Norman: Is that what you heard?
Billy Ray: Yeah. Man, that's really old.
Norman: You should meet my father.
Billy Ray: Your father's still alive?
Norman: No, but you should meet him.

Linklater's films seem to have this very genuine down-to-earth real-life vibe to them.
It honestly feels like you aren't even watching a movie, but looking into an (somewhat idealized) window of people's lives. How did you feel about EWS?
